AirQuality.am receives data from DIY sensors installed by individuals, civic groups, and local projects. This is open community air monitoring in Armenia.
These are primarily ArmAQI sensors that were switched to send data directly to AirQuality.am because of a lack of support on the original project side.
A common setup uses the Nova Fitness SDS011 particle sensor and a BOSCH BME280 weather sensor. These devices are inexpensive and useful for community monitoring, but their PM2.5 measurements need calibration and are better suited for tracking trends than for precise laboratory-grade measurement.
Includes both stations from this source and stations enriched with data from this source.
