The 1.0 release of the iOS app is out — the full feature set we planned from the start of development is finally ready. And at the same time, the first Android app with the same capabilities: it's already on Google Play.
Both apps include everything from the website: stations, districts and places, readings, news, and reference information. Plus the parts that are more convenient on a phone than in a browser:
- automatic detection of the nearest region on the “My Air” screen;
- behavioural advice for different pollution levels;
- a sensor map;
- widgets;
- interface in Armenian, Russian, and English;
- favorites synced with the server — if you sign in (optional: the app works fine without an account). Handy when you have several devices.
As before, I want the app to be convenient and unobtrusive, like a regular weather app. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome.
