API Documentation
We've published API documentation. If you're fetching data from our site, please use it.
We've noticed some tools and language models loading full HTML pages just to extract a couple of numbers. This is wasteful all around: our server sends kilobytes of markup you don't need, and the language model burns tokens parsing HTML instead of getting the number directly. The API returns exactly what you need — structured, no noise.
If you're integrating Yerevan air quality data into a tool or assistant — use the API. It's faster, cheaper, and more considerate of shared resources.
Abovyan Temporarily Removed from City List
The only ArmAQI station in Abovyan has stopped transmitting data. While there are no readings from it, the city has been removed from the list of locations on the site. Once data resumes, Abovyan will be back.
If you live in Abovyan and want to help — you can install any of the stations we support, for example AirGradient, and the data will appear on the site again.
No Radiation Background Data
Since March 30, GMCmap — the network of amateur dosimeters we use as a source of radiation background data in Yerevan — has stopped transmitting data. According to a discussion on the GQ Electronics forum, there's been an outage on their end. We're waiting for it to be fixed.
