Friends, we want to support an important initiative from our colleagues at "Kanach Yerevan". The tree renewal and planting project directly affects what we breathe.
"Kanach Yerevan" is launching a civic greening experiment aimed at proving to city authorities the real demand from residents for a green and clean city.
The essence of the experiment is simple: residents can independently acquire a seedling that meets municipal standards, plant it correctly, and take on care obligations until the tree becomes strong.
If successful, such a "bottom-up" initiative could become an official municipal regulation, allowing all of us to more actively influence the creation of natural air filters and the restoration of Yerevan's ecosystem right in our yards.
