We've been searching for a long time for sensors we could recommend for air monitoring in Yerevan. Previously, we supported the ArmAQI project, but its status is unclear, and we wanted to find reliable, quality, and affordable alternatives.
AirGradient appears to be the best choice in terms of price/quality ratio.
Why them specifically:
- Open API—all data accessible, firmware is open
- Quality components (Plantower, SenseAir, Sensirion) and quality assembly
- Laboratory calibration report available for the assembled version
- Affordable DIY version for self-assembly without soldering
And the funniest part—in December the guys contacted me and offered to create discount promo codes themselves. Only later did I read that they actively support local air monitoring communities. All the better for us :)
- Promo code YEREVAN10—10% discount on DIY kit ($125 → $112.50 + $25 shipping)
- Promo code YEREVAN20—20% discount on ready-made device ($225 → $180 + $25 shipping)

P.S. We don't receive any compensation for purchases through the link; I myself ordered this exact sensor (the DIY assembly version)
