A brief summary of changes to the service since the release.
- We improved data collection from the Yerevan municipality and Clarity: data often arrives with a delay, and the municipality website sometimes didn't update readings for several days. Such failures should no longer break the calculations.
- When calculating the city or district index, we now use averaged values by location, not the average across all sensors at once: the municipality often has 2–3 sensors at one point, and they could skew the average if there were fewer sensors elsewhere. A group of sensors at one point is now counted as one point in calculations.
- We've filtered out sensors that diverge significantly from neighboring ones: they're marked on the site as "unreliable" and don't participate in calculations.
- The site now includes tips on behavior during current pollution levels and some statistics.
- Added a section Air Quality Information Sources with descriptions of data sources.
- Purple Air data has been converted to a comparable format with others using the US EPA formula.
Thanks for supporting the project. Working days are starting now and the development pace will slow down a bit, but won't stop. Suggestions for development — in the comments.
